Tallinn, European Cultural Capital 2011
European Capital of Culture opens an information centre and presents postmark.
The information centre will focus on the information about events of the Culture Capital, but will also have materials about Tallinn and Estonia. The centre will be open on weekdays from 10am to 6pm and on weekend from 11am to 6pm. The author of the interior design of the information centre is Martin Pütsep, „Tablechairs“ called “headless chickens” are designed by Tarmo Luisk, the floor of the centre is covered by a map of central Tallinn. Since September 9 you can also buy a postmark dedicated to European Capital of Culture title.
The winning postmark „Lost in Tallinn“ was designed by Heino Prunsvelt.
