Republic of Serbia has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the amount of EUR 32 million equivalent toward the cost of the Delivery of Improved Local Services Project, which will be implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health, and it intends to apply the proceeds of this loan to payments for contract TA for development of training packages for training of school staff.

The services include development of:

-A road map for implementation of inclusive education along with the detailed consultant's work plan;

-A set of training packages for training of trainers [ToT] for:

[a] An introductory workshop

[b] The development and implementation of inclusive education at school level trainings;

-As well as implementation of ToTs;

-A set of training packages for trainings for school level professionals related to:

[a] Introduction of inclusion in schools;

[b] Development and implementation of inclusive education at school level;

-A set of info materials and guidelines on inclusive education and other instructional materials for education sector staff in Serbia;

-A draft concept and implementation plan for MoE capacity building for implementation and monitoring of new approaches in inclusive education;

-A draft concept paper with recommended implementation mechanism for development of professional services in support of inclusive education;

The Fiduciary Service Unit in behalf of the Ministry of Education now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services [description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.]. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004, revised October 2006.
